- The City of Fayetteville is unveiling a new citizen E-newsletter titled City Happenings. It will be published to subscribers every two weeks on a Monday afternoon. Residents can subscribe by e-mail here. Citizens are asked to share this link with family and friends either via email or when the City posts on the City of Fayetteville’s Facebook and Twitter pages.
- The ICON Summer Internship Program is co-sponsored by the Cumberland County Schools (CCS), City of Fayetteville, Public Works Commission (PWC), and the NCWorks Career Center. The goal is to hire 30+ youth to work 32 hours per week for six weeks in positions in the Cumberland County area. Application deadline is March 29, 2018. Click here to register.
- The FPD has launched a mobile app designed to enhance real-time community engagement. The app has the ability to submit anonymous tips, provides the ability for citizens to complete/view police reports, and provides the ability for the department to send citizens push notification alerts for high profile incidents or road closures.
