Martin Luther King Day Holiday Schedule

The City of Fayetteville’s government administrative offices, including FAST offices, are closed on Monday, Jan. 21, 2019 in recognition of the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday.  FAST will run regular service. Garbage and yard waste for Monday, Jan. 21 will be collected on Wednesday, Jan. 23. Recycling will be collected on regular schedule on Monday, Jan. 21. If any collection service is missed, residents should leave their carts at the curb and, if needed, call 910-433-1FAY (1329).   • Introduction: The purpose of this organization is to enable Cumberland County, the City of Fayetteville, and The Alliance Foundation to jointly undertake the conduct of economic development activities and services.
The Fayetteville/Cumberland County Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors is an 11 member body comprised of voting members and ex-officio non-voting members.  The Corporation was established through an inter-local agreement for the purpose of conducting economic development activities as an entity organized as a 501(c) non-profit corporation.  Criteria to be considered for appointment to the Board of Directors includes knowledge of business finance, business development, infrastructure development, workforce development, real estate development/utilities and diverse group representative of the community.
