Robbery Suspect Surrenders to Authorities

 

(Fayetteville, NC) – On Tuesday, August 29, 2017 Hillary C. Carver, who was wanted for Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon, turned herself in to authorities at the Cumberland County Detention Center.

 

Carver was wanted for Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon and Possession of Stolen Goods, reference the robbery of the Sprint Store located at 7830 Good Middling Drive, which occurred on July 31, 2017.

 

An anonymous Crimestoppers tip led FPD Detectives to the identity of Carver and led to the warrants being issued. Carver turned herself in to authorities at the Cumberland County Detention Center this morning.

Hillary C. Carver (I/F, 23 years of age), of the 3100 block of Arabia Road in Raeford, NC is currently being held at the Cumberland County Detention Center on a $100,000 secured bond.

 

There is no additional information to release.

 

 

Crimestoppers Tip Leads to Identity of Robbery Suspect

 

(Fayetteville, NC) – On July 31, 2017 at approximately 7:25 pm, officers with the Fayetteville Police Department responded to the Sprint Store located at 7830 Good Middling Drive in reference to a business robbery.

 

Detectives with the FPD obtained surveillance images from the business and requested the public’s assistance with identifying the suspect on August 3rd, 2017. Within two days of releasing the information, the Fayetteville / Cumberland County Crimestoppers Program received a tip from an anonymous tipster identifying the suspect in the surveillance images as Hillary Cheyenne Carver (I/F 23 years of age) of the 300 block of Norment Rd, Lumberton.  FPD Robbery detectives have obtained warrants on Carver, charging her with Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon and Possession of Stolen Goods.

Detectives are encouraging family and friends of Hillary Cheyenne Carver to have her to turn herself into law enforcement. Detectives also ask that anyone with information concerning the whereabouts of Carver to be cautious and contact law enforcement immediately as she is considered armed and dangerous.

 

Detectives with the FPD’s Robbery Unit are actively investigating this robbery and are asking the public to come forward with any information.

Business Robbery

 

(Fayetteville, NC) – On July 31, 2017 at approximately 7:25 pm, officers with the Fayetteville Police Department responded to the Sprint Store located at 7830 Good Middling Drive in reference to a business robbery.

 

The preliminary investigation revealed a suspect walked into the business, brandished an assault rifle and demanded cell phones from the clerk. The clerk met the suspect’s demands and the suspect fled in a dark blue Mazda.

 

The suspect was described as a White Female, with dark colored hair wearing a green tank top with black horizontal stripes, black pants, and black sneakers with a tattoo on her right shoulder blade, carrying an assault rifle. Detectives with the FPD’s Robbery Unit have obtained surveillance video from the business and are asking for the public’s assistance identifying the suspect.
