North Carolina Emergency Management, the Governor’s Office and the Department of Commerce have allocated approximately $34.7 million in CDBG-DR funding for projects in Fayetteville as part of the Hurricane Matthew recovery efforts.
The top priority is assisting low-to-moderate income families by addressing housing and support service needs. This includes projects to repair owner-occupied homes, rental housing and to provide shelter for the homeless. It is equally important to assist small businesses and farmers who are trying to get back on their feet and to rebuild community and support service facilities.
