The City to Host Workshops for Nonprofits & Contractors

 

In an effort to provide more information to assist nonprofits with needed information on applying for funding, the Economic & Community Development Department is providing the following series instructional workshops. These workshops are being held in preparation of the 2019-2020 Annual Action Plan.

                                                                                                                                                                       

How to Prepare Your Nonprofit for City, State & Federal Grants

Established non-profit organizations can learn the requirements and procedures to bid on City of Fayetteville grants. This information session will be led by Cynthia Blot, Director, Economic & Community Development, City of Fayetteville, & Sam Gore, a recognized non-profit expert. Seating is limited, therefore, attendance is restricted to established 501(c)3 organizations only.

Community Housing Development Organizations (CHDO) Training Workshop

Are you a nonprofit organization considering providing affordable housing opportunities within the City of Fayetteville?  Learn what it takes to become certified as a CHDO; their roles, benefits, and what to consider beyond the CHDO checklist.  This is a great opportunity to gather information, ask questions, and learn the qualifying requirements.

A workshop to provide information to nonprofits that are interested in applying to the city to meet one of the identified priority needs. Learn the requirements to apply for local government funding. Join us as we discuss the nonprofit’s role in local government and what it takes to have a successful application.
