Fayetteville Regional Airport Generates $784 Million for Local Economy
(Fayetteville, N.C.) – According to a report released this morning by the N.C. Department of Transportation’s Division of Aviation, Fayetteville Regional Airport generates more than $784 million for its local economy and supports 4,410 jobs.
Fayetteville Regional Airport has seen its number of total passengers increase by 95 percent since 2003. The estimated number of total passengers for 2018 was 461,331. The airport is also in the midst of a $40 million terminal modernization project.
Additionally, the airport generates over $164 million in personal income and $27 million in state and local taxes.
