Citizens Asked to Take Biking Survey
(Fayetteville, N.C.) — The City of Fayetteville was awarded a grant by the North Carolina Department of Transportation to complete a City-wide Bicycle Plan to guide the planning and implementation of bicycle improvement projects.
The overall goal of a bicycle plan is to assess current conditions and recommend policies and programs to make biking more desirable. The finished plan will recognize the crucial role that biking plays in creating an attractive, accessible, safe and healthy community. In the end, the City will be presented with a plan that has prioritized recommendations for policies, programs and projects that will improve the bikeability (and health, economy and mobility) of our community.
City officials are interested in hearing from citizens on biking in the City. Please visit www.bikingfayetteville.com to complete a survey and share information about how to improve cycling in Fayetteville.
