Public Feedback Needed for 2019-2020 Annual Action Plan
(Fayetteville, N.C.) — The City of Fayetteville’s Economic & Community Development Department is seeking public feedback for the 2019-2020 Annual Action Plan, which covers July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020. The public will have two opportunities to provide input:
- Public Hearing on Thursday, April 25 at 7 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chamber at 433 Hay St.
- Public Comment Period from Tuesday, April 23-Wednesday, May 22
The Economic & Community Development Department programs are part of the One Year Action Plan that describes how the City intends to use the Community Development Block Grant and HOME Investment Partnership funds for the 2019-2020 ﬁscal year. During the public hearing, the City’s Redevelopment Commission will decide on recommendations that will be forwarded to the Fayetteville City Council for approval of the plan.
For the public comment period, the Economic & Community Development Department will make available for public review and comment a draft of the proposed 2019-2020 One-Year Action Plan. The period of public comment will run through Wednesday, May 22. The proposed plan may be viewed Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. in the Economic and Community Development Department office in the Festival Park Plaza Building, first floor, room 198, at 225 Ray Ave. and at the Cumberland County Headquarters Library, 300 Maiden Lane. The plan may also be viewed at the following recreation centers: College Lakes, 4964 Rosehill Road; Myers, 1018 Rochester St.; Gilmore, 1600 Purdue Drive; Kiwanis, 352 Devers St.; J.S. Spivey, 500 Fisher St.; Massey Hill, 1612 Camden Road; Smith, 1520 Slater Ave.; and Westover, 277 Bonanza Drive. The draft can also be viewed online at www.FayettevilleNC.gov/ECD.
