City Hall Opens at 8 a.m.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – City Hall is open today. Please note the following is the schedule for resident-focused services. 

Garbage Pickup: 

  • Today’s garbage pickup will take place as scheduled. Residents should have placed their carts at the curb by 7 a.m. for normal pick-up.
  • Residents who normally receive Thursday’s garbage pickup will be serviced on Saturday, September 7, 2019. Residents are asked to place carts at the curb by 7 a.m.
  •  Bulky Item pickup, Yard Waste pickup and Cart Deliveries will NOT take place on Friday, Sept. 6 or Saturday, Sept. 7.

FAST Bus Service: 

FAST Transit is planning to begin regular bus service today, Sept. 6 at noon..

Parks and Recreation:

Fayetteville-Cumberland Recreation Centers will open to the public at its abbreviated start time of 10 a.m. after assessing facilities and grounds for damage.

Fayetteville-Cumberland Parks & Recreation administration plans to operate a normal schedule today with Parks Division continuing to assist with storm clean up as needed.
