City closures & service changes for holiday

(Fayetteville, N.C.) – The City of Fayetteville government will observe Memorial Day May 25, 2020. City offices will be closed on the holiday. Below is important information for transit and solid waste customers:

Solid Waste Division

  • Monday customers should place bulky items outside in time for pickup on Friday, May 22.
  • Monday customers should expect garbage and yard waste pickup to take place Wednesday, May 27.
  • Monday roll cart repairs will take place on Wednesday, May 27.
  • Recycling collection will take place on Memorial Day, Monday, May 25.
