Winter Weather Update (revised 1/18 7:50 a.m.)

CLICK HERE FOR CITY SERVICE SCHEDULES. FAST bus services will begin at 9 a.m. on most routes. Some detours may occur on routes due to the inclement weather. An assessment is ongoing to determine if any routes will not be fully operational. The City of Fayetteville's administrative offices, including City Hall, are operating on a two-hour delay. As of now, offices will open at 10 a.m. Solid waste pickup will operate on its regularly scheduled routes today, with a delayed start for pickup to begin at 9 a.m. Early morning Parks & Recreation programming is delayed with Senior, Gilmore, Tokay, Kiwanis and Westover Recreation Centers opening today at 10am. We will send more updates as needed. Stay tuned to the latest on the status of City services via the City’s website at www.FayettevilleNC.gov and on our social media sites. The City of Fayetteville's vision includes a vibrant downtown and a strong local economy. The activities included in this section focus on small business development activities with a concentration on economic development activities in the downtown area in support of the Fayetteville Renaissance Plan and the City's redevelopment plan areas throughout the community.

Community Investment Programs

The Community Development Department administers 4 primary programs to assist small businesses:

  • Business Assistance Loan Program
  • Commercial Exterior Improvement Grant Program
  • Small Business Development Grant Program
  • Small Business Retention Grant Program
