SAY YES TO CHARITIES

Donate to or volunteer at places that help with long‐term solutions for our homeless.

SAY NO TO PANHANDLERS

Providing money to those who ask only adds to the problems and keeps people on the streets.

What to do if you are approached by someone asking for money:

Tell them: No, I am sorry but I cannot help you. or Sorry, I don’t carry cash.
Call 911: Tell the dispatcher a panhandler has approached you for money. Be able to describe the panhandler.

Together, we can make the downtown area safer and friendlier for customers. When you see an issue arise that does not look right, whether it is panhandling or anything else, please call 911.
