The City of Fayetteville will hold its annual Community Café Conversation on Thursday, Jan. 16, 2019 at Smith Recreation Center, located at 1520 Slater Ave. The event will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. and allows Fayetteville citizens to answer questions that can help shape the future of the community.

Republic Parking will assume the management and enforcement of downtown parking beginning on Jan. 2, taking over from McLaurin Parking. Initially there will be no changes to downtown parking enforcement and rules as the new company takes over the reins.

The 2019-21 Fayetteville City Council will be inaugurated at a ceremony this Monday, Dec. 2, at 6 p.m. The inauguration will be held Fayetteville State University’s Seabrook Auditorium. The auditorium is located at 1200 Murchison Road. The public is invited to attend and encouraged to arrive early.
