  2. Commercial New Construction Application (FayWorx Online Portal) or Building Permit Application
  3. Two (2) Sets of Complete Plans with Building Code Summary and Site Plan
  4. Energy ComCheck 
  5. Worker Compensation Form
  6. NC Lien Agent Assignment Printout with Entry Number
  7. Elevation Certificate if within Flood Zones
  8. NC Department Of Natural Resources Approval, when Required

All New Commercial Buildings must fully comply with the City of Fayetteville Development Ordinance for height, required setbacks, and lot coverage. See Section 30-3.

  1. Zoning Compliance Form 
  2. Two (2) Sets of Complete Plans with Building Code Summary and Site Plan, when Required.
  3. Engineer Sealed Drawing for Retaining Walls of Four Feet or more in Height and Fences or Walls over Six Feet In Height. 
  4. Worker Compensation Form (if project is $30k or more) 
  5. NC Lien Agent Assignment Printout with Entry number (if project is $30k or more)
  6. Elevation Certificate if within Flood Zone
  7. NC Department of Natural Resources Approval, when Required
  8. Watershed Permit, when Required

All Fences and Walls must fully comply with the City of Fayetteville Development Ordinance Section 30-5.D.

All Pools must fully comply with City of Fayetteville Development Ordinance Section 30-4.C.4.h.2. 

All Dumpster Enclosures must fully comply with City of Fayetteville Development Ordinance Section 30-5.B.4.e.

If the property is still using a Septic System, contact the Cumberland County Health Department at (910) 433-3668 to locate the position of the tank and lines to ensure there will be no conflict with the project and/or no required upgrades to the existing system.

Building and site plan must fully comply with the City of Fayetteville Development Ordinance 30-3; 30-5.H; and 30-5.I.
