The North Carolina General Assembly approved legislation and funding for the North Carolina Veterans Park (NCVP) honoring veterans from all service branches. After a lengthy, statewide selection process to find the right home for this important public place, the City of Fayetteville was selected as home for a park to honor our veterans. The programming process was intense and multi-faceted, responsive to a significant number of goals and objectives from stakeholders at all levels including the City, State, representatives of the Military, and veterans groups. The success of the process is evident in the resulting park and the numerous awards that the park has received.
