Shooting – Homicide Investigation

 

           

(Fayetteville, NC) – On December 20, 2020, at 7:19 pm, officers with the Fayetteville Police Department were dispatched to a reported shooting along the 900 block of Willow St.

 

The preliminary investigation revealed a domestic related disturbance occurred at the residence. During the disturbance multiple shots were fired and an unknown age, pregnant W/F, was shot multiple times. An unknown age W/M was also shot. 

 

The female victim was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. The male subject was pronounced deceased on scene.

 

The identity of the subjects involved is currently being withheld pending notification of the next of kin.

 

No one else was harmed during this incident.

 

This shooting does not appear to be a random incident.
