Update to Traffic Fatality
(Fayetteville, NC) – Officers with the Fayetteville Police Department’s Traffic Unit have identified the individuals involved in the vehicle crash that resulted in a fatality near the intersection of Bragg Boulevard and Sycamore Dairy Road on Monday, February 1, 2021.
The pedestrian has been identified as Robin C. Horton (W/F, 57 years of age), of the 3800 block of Ithaca Place. Next of kin has been notified.
Ambrose S. Culbreth (B/M, 43 years of age), of the 3600 block of Pine Lake Drive was operating a 2008 Dodge at the time of the crash.
The cause of the crash and the events leading up to it remain under investigation. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
All lanes of travel on Bragg Boulevard have been reopened.

Traffic Fatality / Road Closure
(Fayetteville, NC) – On February 1, 2021 at 8:37 pm, officers with the Fayetteville Police Department were dispatched to a pedestrian struck at the intersection of Bragg Blvd and Sycamore Dairy Road.
Upon arrival, officers located a female in the roadway that had been struck by a vehicle. The pedestrian was pronounced deceased on scene. Her identity is being withheld pending next of kin notification.
Bragg Blvd outbound at Sycamore Dairy Road is currently closed and traffic is being rerouted down Sycamore Dairy Road as the Fayetteville Police Department’s Traffic Unit conducts an investigation. Please use an alternate route.
