Road Opened

 

(Fayetteville, NC) – On January 30, 2023, at approximately 8:30 p.m., officers with the Fayetteville Police Department were dispatched to the 1900 block of Skibo Road for a traffic incident.

 

Upon arriving on scene, officers located a pedestrian struck in the roadway.

 

The preliminary investigation has revealed the pedestrian was crossing the road in the 1900 block of Skibo Road when he was struck by a vehicle. The victim has been transported to an area hospital and is in serious condition.

 

Skibo Road has been re-opened.

 

Members of the Fayetteville Police Department’s Traffic Unit are investigating the incident. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.

At this time, Skibo Road from Campground Road to Red Tip Road is closed.
