Traffic Fatality – Pedestrian Struck

(Fayetteville, NC) – On July 25, 2024, at approximately 9:50 p.m., Fayetteville Police Department Officers responded to the area of Cliffdale Road and Bunce Road in reference to a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle.

The preliminary investigation revealed that pedestrian was struck by a vehicle while attempting to cross an unguarded portion of the crosswalk.

The identity of the victim is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
