Homicide Investigation

(Fayetteville, NC) – On Friday, October 11, 2024, at approximately 1:41 am, officers with the Fayetteville Police Department responded to 5900 Yadkin Road, Big Apple Restaurants and Sports Pub, reference a reported shooting.

Officers arrived on scene and located an adult male who sustained gunshot wounds. Medical personnel were summoned to the scene and the victim was pronounced deceased on scene.

The name of the victim is currently being withheld pending next of kin notification.

Detectives with the Fayetteville Police Department’s Homicide Unit are actively investigating this homicide, and additional information will be released as it becomes available.
