Suspect Arrested for Sex Crimes
(Fayetteville, NC) – Detectives with the Fayetteville Police Department’s Special Victims Unit have charged and arrested a suspect in connection with multiple sexual offenses that occurred on January 7, 2017. The offenses involved a child who was 15 years of age at the time of the incidents.
Kirk Peter Jhagroo, (I/M, 35 years of age), of the 5700 block of Pepperbush Drive, has been charged and arrested with Sexual Activity by a Substitute Parent, Statutory Sex Offense, Indecent Liberties with a Child, Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor, and Crimes Against Nature.
Jhagroo was arrested without incident and was taken to the Cumberland County Detention Center where he received a $600,000 secured bond.
