Missing Mother and Child Located

 

(Fayetteville, NC) – Detectives with the Fayetteville Police Department have located the missing mother and child, who were reported abducted during the morning hours of Sunday, July 22, 2018 from the 1800 block of Camelot Drive.

 

Serenity McLean (3 months of age) and Alyssa Hammonds (19 years of age) have been located and are now safe. Detectives have also located Delano McLean (18 years of age). Detectives are currently conducting interviews to determine the details of what transpired. No charges have been filed at this point in the investigation and this investigation is on-going.

Detectives Investigating a Reported Abduction

 

(Fayetteville, NC) – Detectives with the Fayetteville Police Department are requesting assistance regarding a missing mother and child, as both need to be located immediately.  A family member reported the mother and child were abducted from a residence along the 1800 block of Camelot Drive and were last seen on Sunday, July 22, 2018 at 2:30 am.

The missing child has been identified as Serenity McLean (B/F, 3 months of age).

 

Alyssa

Alyssa Hammonds

 

The missing mother has been identified as Alyssa Hammonds (I/F, 19 years of age) of the 1800 block of Camelot Drive.

 

Delano McLean

Delano McLean

 

Detectives have information leading them to believe both victims were abducted by Delano R. McLean (B/M, 18 years of age) of the 6400 block of Brookshire Street. The preliminary investigation has revealed Delano McLean forced entry in to the residence through a window, forced Alyssa Hammonds and Serenity McLean in to Hammonds’ silver 2004 Nissan Maxima and left the area with them. The Nissan Maxima was last known to be displaying North Carolina registration VF26089 and may have tail light damage. Delano Mclean and Alyssa Hammonds were known to each other prior to this abduction taking place.

 

The Fayetteville Police Department is urging anyone who may have been in contact with Delano McLean, or anyone who knows the whereabouts of Alyssa Hammonds and Serenity McLean, to call 911 or Crimestoppers immediately.

 

The Fayetteville Police Department is currently working on having an Amber Alert issued.
