Director's Message

As I am thrilled to lead the Fayetteville Area System of Transit (FAST) today, I am even more excited about our future. I am honored to serve the amazing residents, visitors and entire Fayetteville community as much as I am proud to serve Transit’s employees. It is because of each of them that FAST has been able to provide the much needed transit service our community expects.

It is no secret these past few years have been one for the history books. The pandemic has changed much of what we all knew as “normal” both globally and locally and affected us in unimaginable ways. Much of the world had no choice but to “pause”; however, the vital role FAST plays in the lives of our citizens and the economy of our region was simply too important for us to pause. Despite it all, FAST was able to continue to keep our community moving.

During my first year as director, I am committed to the following plan of action:

· Reaffirming Trust and Transparency

· Permeating the Value of FAST

· Establishing the Vision of FAST as a 

  Value Within Our Community 

There are several benefits of choosing transit and I urge you to consider us as a primary mode of transportation for all of your travel needs. As our current goal is to transition FAST to a transit system of choice, I urge you to try transit.  We would love for you to sit back, relax and choose to ride with us as we journey to CHOICE!
