When will FAST begin charging to ride the bus?

Fares will resume July 1st, 2023.

Are the prices of fares/passes changing?

FAST fares/passes will resume the current fee schedule. Please visit https://www.fayettevillenc.gov/city-services/transit/riding-fast/fares-and-passes  for more information.

Where can I purchase a bus pass?

Passes will be sold at the following locations;

FAST Transit Center (FTC) and the following Carlie C’s locations:

Eutaw, Bordeaux, Riley Rd, Cedar Creek

When can I purchases a bus pass?

Pass Sales (FTC) Hours: (M-F) 515am-7pm; (Sat) 645am-7pm; (Sun) 845am-7pm

Where can I purchase bulk passes?

Bulk passes (quantity of 100 or more) are sold at the FAST Transit Center (FTC) on the second floor.

Do I need a pass to utilize FASTTrac! services?

Paratransit customers must have a valid punch card to use FASTTrac!.

Does the farebox/ Operator provide change when purchasing a pass? 

FAST Operators do not give change for overpayment of fares. Customers must provide exact change when purchasing a pass on vehicles. 

I currently  have a FAST/ FASTTrac! pass that I purchased prior to the suspension of fares, can I still use it?

FAST passes sold prior to June 1st, 2023, will not be valid.
