FASTTrac!

What is FASTTrac!?

Fayetteville Area System of Transit (FAST) is committed to providing quality transit services to all of our new and existing customers. We recognize some of our customers are unable to use the conventional fixed-route buses, some or all of the time, due to physical and/or mental disabilities.

FAST’s Paratransit Service (FASTTrac!) provides origin-to-destination transportation to Paratransit certified (eligible) individuals who are unable to use the accessible fixed route system due to their disability in conjunction with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990. This origin-to-destination service connects individuals who meet the eligibility requirements to wherever they wish to travel within our coverage area. If you have a disability that prevents you from using a lift-equipped FAST buses, some or all of the time, you may be eligible for FASTTrac! services.

In order to use FASTTrac! service, you must be certified as eligible. Eligibility is determined on a case-by-case basis. According to federal regulations, eligibility is strictly limited to those who have specific limitations that prevent them from using accessible public transportation. 

What is the FASTTrac! Service Area?

FASTTrac! is an advanced reservation transportation service which operates service throughout the City of Fayetteville. Service boundaries are any location within ¾ mile of a FAST fixed bus route. Individuals who reside outside of our service boundary may still be eligible for FASTTrac! service as long as they travel within our coverage area. Schedule My Trip

Reservations for service up to seven (7) days in advance may be made between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM Monday thru Sunday.  Reservations are taken on Sundays and/or holidays, via a recording.  A dispatcher will confirm the appointment by 6:00 PM on Sundays and holidays for next day service.  We do not accept same-day reservations.  To make a reservation, please call (910) 433-1ADA (1232) and choose Option 2.


Visitors (Non-Residents of Fayetteville)

In accordance with ADA regulations, FASTTrac! will provide paratransit services to any Fayetteville, NC  visitor that has been certified as ADA paratransit eligible by another public entity.  Visitor status allows the use of FASTTrac!  for up to  21 days of service within a 365 day period.  This period begins with the first day of service and does not have to be consecutive.  Visitors may be required to provide proof of current eligibility on another paratransit system and/or proof of residence.  If more than 21 days of transportation is required, or if he/she cannot provide proof of eligibility on another paratransit system and/or proof of residence, he/she must complete the standard application process to continue.
