(Fayetteville, NC) – On Monday, August 14, 2017, the Fayetteville Police Department received a mutual aid request from the Delaware Police Department located in Ohio in reference to juvenile that was reported as a runaway in their jurisdiction on August 09, 2017. During the investigation, detectives with Delaware PD developed information that the juvenile may have fled to the Fayetteville area. The juvenile has been identified as Zamere A. Pegues (B/M, 16 years of age).

(Fayetteville, NC) – Detectives with the FPD’s Homicide Unit have identified the suspect in the fatal shooting of a man along the 2000 block of Rosehill Road earlier this morning as Cynthia Evette Anderson (B/F, 38 years of age). Detectives have charged Anderson with 1st Degree Murder and she is currently being held at the Cumberland County Detention Center without bond.
