White was last known to be in the area of Grove Street and spotted in that area as recently as of today, Friday, January 13, 2016.

    (Fayetteville, NC) – Detectives with the Fayetteville Police Department are requesting the public’s assistance in locating Travis Burns, who was reported missing by his family on December 29, 2016. Burns is believed to have traveled to South Carolina and frequently goes by the name “Arron.”

  • Assistant Chief of Police Graduates from FBI National Academy

    On December 16, 2016, Assistant Chief Michael Petti with the Fayetteville Police Department graduated from the 266th session of the FBI National Academy Program in Quantico, Virginia. The National Academy is by invitation only for Law Enforcement Officers from around the world. Less than half of 1% of law enforcement officers are selected to attend this training course. The 266th Session of the National Academy consisted of men and women from 48 states. Included in the class are members of law enforcement agencies from the District of Columbia, 20 international countries, five military organizations, and eight federal civilian organizations.
