    (Fayetteville, NC) – On Friday, October 14, 2016 at approximately 1:38 am, officers with the Fayetteville Police Department responded to Kangaroo Express located at 1764 Ireland Drive in reference to a report of a business robbery.

  • Suspect Arrested for Thefts of Unsecured Motor Vehicles

    (Fayetteville, NC) – On October 7, 2016 at approximately 5:39 pm, officers with the Fayetteville Police Department responded to the Kangaroo gas station located at 6605 Raeford Rd. in reference to a report of a stolen motor vehicle. The investigation revealed that the victim left a black 2008 Honda Accord, with NC Registration FDY4623, unsecured, with the keys in the ignition, and the vehicle running, while the victim went inside the store. While the victim was inside the store a suspect entered the unsecured motor vehicle and then stole the motor vehicle. A Savage twelve (12) gauge shotgun was also in the vehicle at the time of the theft.

  • Suspect Arrested for 1st Degree Sex Offense

    (Fayetteville, NC) – Detectives with the FPD’s Youth Services Unit have charged and arrested a suspect in connection with a 1st Degree Sex Offense and Indecent Liberties with a child investigation. The incident occurred during July 2016 with a six (6) year old juvenile victim. The suspect was an acquaintance of the family at the time of the incident.
