  • Suspect Wanted for Attempted Forcible Sex Offense Turns Himself in to Law Enforcement

    (Fayetteville, NC) – Matthew McLean (B/M, 42 years of age), of the 300 block of Person Street, turned himself in to law enforcement on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 without incident. McLean had an outstanding warrant for his arrest charging him with Attempted Second Degree Forcible Sex Offense, which occurred on February 6, 2017.

  • Defendant Sentenced to 60 Years in Prison

    (Fayetteville, NC) – On Tuesday, February 28, 2017, John Brooks Glover (B/M, 51 years of age) was sentenced to more than 60 years in prison in connection with a molestation that was reported to the Fayetteville Police Department in November 2014. As a result of the investigation by Detectives with the FPD’s Special Victims Unit, Glover was charged and arrested in January 2015.
