(Fayetteville, NC) – On Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at approximately 9:24 pm, officers with the Fayetteville Police Department responded to the 3400 block of Dorado Circle in reference to a report of a personal robbery.

(Fayetteville, NC) – On February 10, 2017 at approximately 12:30 am, officers with the Fayetteville Police Department responded to assist the North Carolina State Highway Patrol with a suspect who had fled on foot during the course of a traffic stop along Santa Fe Drive near Yadkin Road. During the investigation, officers located felonious amounts of narcotics in the vehicle as well as a stolen handgun. The NC SHP initially conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle for a red light violation and the suspicion of driving while impaired.

(Fayetteville, NC) – Detectives with the FPD’s Homicide Unit have charged a second suspect in connection with the fatal shooting of Charles Brown that occurred on February 10, 2017. The suspect has been identified as Robert Williams Jr. (B/M, 23 years of age) of the 5000 block of Walnut Drive in Fayetteville.

(Fayetteville, NC) – On Friday, February 10, 2017, members of the Fayetteville Police Department’s Violent Criminal Apprehension Team located a wanted subject driving along Murchison Road near Pamalee Drive at approximately 2:00 pm. The subject was identified as Xavier Shamarr Johnson (B/M, 27 years of age) of Spring Lake. Johnson was driving a 2016 Ford Explorer and fled from the officers onto Country Club Drive.
