To provide the primary mechanism for citizen participation; formulate policy recommendations to Council pertaining to housing, community, and economic development issues; conduct public hearings for citizen input on the allocation of Community Development resources; and prepare and present to Council all eligible project recommendations of the available funds. [Please be aware that City Ordinance Sec. 2-35 requires members reside within the City limits.]
Attention Residents: The City’s Fayetteville Redevelopment Commission will hold a public meeting Wednesday March 22, 2023, at Festival Park Plaza at 225 Ray Avenue, Suite 122 from 12 PM until 2 PM. The meeting is an opportunity for residents to comment on the proposed budget for the City’s CDBG, HOME and HOPWA entitlement funds, and a Substantial Amendment.
