Introduction: The purpose of this organization is to enable Cumberland County, the City of Fayetteville, and The Alliance Foundation to jointly undertake the conduct of economic development activities and services.
The Fayetteville/Cumberland County Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors is an 11 member body comprised of voting members and ex-officio non-voting members. The Corporation was established through an inter-local agreement for the purpose of conducting economic development activities as an entity organized as a 501(c) non-profit corporation. Criteria to be considered for appointment to the Board of Directors includes knowledge of business finance, business development, infrastructure development, workforce development, real estate development/utilities and diverse group representative of the community.
