    On Halloween night, Downtown Fayetteville, Fayetteville Police Department and the FAST Transit Center were greeted by many Trick-or-Treaters who were eager to fill their Halloween bags and buckets with sweets to eat. What a spooktacular time!

    Parking area closure downtown for stormwater improvements

    Parking areas along Person Street between 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. will be closed on Tuesday, November 29 to allow for the cleaning and restoration of permeable pavers along the Person Street Greenstreet. While parking is closed, businesses will remain accessible throughout the day.

    Loose Leaf Season pickup service will begin in Fayetteville on Monday, November 21, 2022. Fayetteville-Cumberland Parks and Recreation personnel will be using specialized equipment to collect residential loose leaves by zip code. Collection will start with households in the 28314 zip code.
