• Fayetteville Regional Airport is working closely with TSA, City and County officials, and the State Health Department in regard to precautionary measures for COVID

• The airport terminal is open and operating on regular schedule.

• Cleaning protocols remain heightened and additional hand sanitizer dispensers have been placed throughout the terminal.

• The Transportation Security Administration has implemented the Executive Order on face masks at airport security checkpoints and throughout the airport terminal. Failure to comply is subject to penalties under federal law and possible removal from the premises, denial of re-entry, and may be subject to fines. • Airlines continue to require masks for check-in, boarding and duration of flight. Travelers who do not have masks at check-in will be provided with one.  For more information on airline requirements visit :

• Restaurant service is now open offering a full menu of made to order items, smoothies and specialty coffees. 

• The airport USO is open to service morning and early afternoon military travelers. 

• All airport tours are suspended.

"As a result of a court order, effective immediately and as of April 18, 2022, CDC’s January 29, 2021 Order requiring masks on public transportation conveyances and at transportation hubs is no longer in effect. Therefore, CDC will not enforce the Order. CDC continues to recommend that people wear masks in indoor public transportation settings at this time."

Live Remote Inspections & Code Enforcement (Live RICE) has begun (March 26, 2020). Live RICE is a way to perform several forms of inspections where persons are still in the building during the COVID-19 precautions. This inspection option is voluntary and removes unintended exposure to a virus by using smartphone technology to perform code compliance inspections. Contractors or homeowners simply coordinate with the inspector for the Live RICE as already done when requesting inspections. Customers continue to be encouraged to use the website portals found at here to request service.
