Permits

Construction Management inspects residential and commercial driveway, sidewalk and excavation permits received by the Engineering Division. According to the City ordinance (Sec. 24-101), permits are required for people to work within the City's Right-of-Way for driveway and sidewalk installation.

Degradation

Contractors must complete patchwork on City Streets according to city ordinance. Construction Management will inspect all work after completion. If repairs to street cuts are needed, they must be made as soon as possible. The Contractor will be charged a degradation fee based on the City’s current fee schedule once the repair is made.
