Adam MapProject Overview: 

 

The Adams Street Drainage Improvements Project was identified through the Cape Fear 2 watershed study where the existing storm drainage system in the area has been determined to be undersized. The project is located along Adam Street to the West of N Eastern Boulevard through the intersection of Adam Street and B Street where the drainage improvements will divert flow from the Link Street, School Street, and Adam Street areas west to Blounts Creek, thereby reducing the flooding in these areas and diverting flow away from the undersized downstream storm system. The project consists of approximately 1,250 linear feet of new 36” storm pipe and appurtenances along Adam Street. PWC will also be upgrading their water line from B Street to N Eastern Boulevard.
