Drainage Assistance Program
About the Program
The Drainage Assistance Program (DAP) was developed to assist homeowners with drainage concerns on their private property that extends beyond the public streets. According to the City Ordinance, the City is only responsible for constructing, maintaining, and repairing components of the stormwater drainage system located within city-owned streets rights-of-way. The Drainage Assistance Program provides single-family residential property owners with assistance in repairing stormwater issues located outside of City maintained rights-of-way. Assistance with such issues is subject to the annual funding made available by City Council.
For further details, please see the Stormwater Ordinance.
