North Street

Project Overview: 

The North Street area is located in the northern part of the City and has experienced localized yard, street, and structure flooding during major storm events. An initial site investigation confirmed that there was insufficient capacity in the local storm sewers to meet the City’s current level of service requirements and that the existing infrastructure was in poor condition. The City will install approximately 2,000 linear feet of new storm sewers on North, Ingram, and Sewell Streets to reduce the frequency, severity, and duration of localized flooding.
