Spot Repair Program

The Spot Repair Program is designed to expedite the resolution of stormwater drainage complaints as related to flooding within right of way through a simplified design and construction process. As work orders are investigated and needs for improvements are established, any project with a cost below $200,000 will be assigned to this program. Before the inception of this program, small projects would be combined into a CIP and scheduled accordingly based on its priority ranking. This program allows for smaller projects to be constructed with City crews or through informal bids depending on the scope and resource availability without the competition involved in CIP. It will also increase the opportunities for smaller construction firms to bid on projects they can easily construct.  Funding for the Spot Repair Program is through the Stormwater Enterprise Fund.
