Tryon Drive Drainage Improvements
Stormwater Capital Improvement Projects
Project Overview:
The project was originally part of the Spot Repair program until analysis determined that improvement costs were excessive and the 1743 Tryon Drive property was subsequently purchased by the City. The area was later studied as part of the Little Cross Creek Watershed Study (LCCWS) and based on prioritization criteria, was selected to move forward into the design stage. Approximately 1,700 linear feet of piped drainage improvements are proposed along Daisy Lane and Webster Avenue, extending across residential lots to Tryon Drive, turning east along Tryon Drive back to Swann Street. The project will also replace approximately 1,600 linear feet of asbestos concrete waterline in the Swann Street and Tryon Drive project area.
